Martin Hammond

Martin Hammond has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Martin started their career at Grantham Motor Company Ltd in 1997, where they held various financial roles, including Assistant Accountant, Dealership Accountant, and Financial Controller. In 2007, they joined Vertu Motors plc, initially as Financial Controller for the Honda Division. Martin then progressed to the role of Divisional Finance Director for the Honda Division and later for the VW Division. During their time at Vertu Motors, Martin also served as the Group Internal Audit Manager, where they were responsible for ensuring FCA compliance and conducting regular audits of dealership balance sheets.

Martin Hammond attended Grantham College from 1994 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in AAT in the field of Accounting and Finance. Martin then continued their education at Grantham College from 1995 to 1998, earning a degree in CIMA in the field of Accounting and Business/Management.
