Faraz Shooshani

Faraz Shooshani is a seasoned investment management professional with extensive experience in private markets and private equity consulting. Since January 2016, Faraz has served as Managing Director and Senior Private Markets Consultant at Verus Investments, where institutional investment management consulting is the focus. Prior to this role, from August 2006 to December 2015, Faraz held the position of Managing Director at Strategic Investment Solutions SF, which later merged with Verus Investments. Faraz also contributed to investment management at the California Institute of Technology, overseeing a $1.5 billion endowment and life-income portfolios as Associate Director of Investments from February 2003 to August 2006. Additional experiences include founding Catapult Ventures, serving as Senior Revenue Analyst at Intel Corporation, and completing a fellowship at Calvert Social Venture Partners. Faraz began a consulting career at Booz Allen Hamilton. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
