Verus
Ian Toner is the Chief Investment Officer at Verus, where responsibilities include overseeing investment and risk output for discretionary and non-discretionary clients, as well as being a member of various investment committees. Previously, Ian served as Managing Director of Research at Verus, leading the manager and capital markets research teams. Ian's experience also includes notable roles at Russell Investments, where responsibilities encompassed capital markets research, marketing, and public policy engagement. Additional experience includes leadership positions at UBS, Salomon Smith Barney, InterSec Research Corp, Williams de Broe, and NatWest Markets, with a strong background in marketing and research focused on the global asset management industry. Ian holds a MA in Law from the University of Oxford.
