John Barham started their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Louisiana Tech University College of Engineering and Science in 2020, where they designed a method to package platinum-iridium microwire for biosensor probes. In 2021, they worked as a Teacher Assistant at Louisiana Tech University and later as a Design Engineer at Amfuel, where they designed stitching robotics and digitized drawings of fuel cell valves for military aircraft. John then served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana Tech University, where they wrote a thesis on the use of a 3D-printed shape memory polymer as an actuator in a thermal switch and gained research experience. Currently, they are working as a Mechanical Engineer at Verus Research starting in 2023.
John Barham completed their education in mechanical engineering at Louisiana Tech University. John obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2021. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering, Mechanical at the same university from 2021 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in July 2019.
