Geeta Rao

Geeta Rao has extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry. Geeta worked at Vervali Systems Pvt Ltd as the Head of Operations starting from October 2018. Prior to that, Geeta held the role of Senior Manager at Sai Krupa Services - India from April 2017 to June 2018, where they were responsible for attendance and leave data management, recruitment of staff, and onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Geeta also worked as a Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank from September 2016 to January 2017, handling escalations and coordinating with branches for customer issue resolutions. Geeta served as Deputy Manager at The Saraswat Co-operative Bank Ltd. from December 2014 to November 2015, where they managed RTGS and NEFT transactions, handled ATM operations, and achieved fixed deposit targets. Additionally, they worked at Kotak Mahindra Bank from September 2011 to December 2014, initially as a Telesales Team Manager, responsible for generating leads and coordinating with branches for high-value account sourcing, and later as a Deputy Manager, focusing on term deposit sourcing, online account opening process, and third-party insurance sourcing. Geeta began their career at Citibank in 2006 as an Officer, handling outbound calls for existing customers and selling card protection plans.

Geeta Rao pursued their education at Savitribai Phule Pune University. Geeta completed their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they obtained a Master of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from 1999 to 2001. Later, Geeta pursued a Master of Personnel Management degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from 2001 to 2003. In June 2019, they earned the "Verified International Academic Qualifications" certification from the World Education Services (WES).
