Summer Thurlow

Summer Thurlow has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 as a Student and Alumni for the Billerica Bionics Team 4909. In 2016, they worked as a Point of Sales Associate for Kohl's. In 2018, they were a Quality Engineering Intern for Entegris, where they created Response Flow Checklists to allow engineers to focus on improvement rather than sustainment and created process that is easily accessible in all areas of the company. Summer also reduced production time of a process limiting step by 50%, and increased capacity of bottleneck by 60%. In 2019, they returned to Entegris as a Process Engineering Intern and reduced variability in sensitive processes and created easy to use guides for operators. In 2020, they were a Quality Engineer for Teledyne FLIR. In 2021, they were a Production worker for System76. Finally, in 2022, they are a Manufacturing & Quality Engineer for Verve Motion and a Sustaining Engineer for KoKo, LLC.

Summer Thurlow obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2016 and 2020.
