Marina Martinez

Marina Martinez currently serves on the Investment Team at Verve Ventures since September 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Venture Analyst at Marble from March to July 2023, and involvement in research at IBM in late 2022. Previously, Marina worked as a Teaching Assistant in Advanced General Chemistry and contributed to the PRIMA Program as an Internship Trainee, focusing on sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. Engagement with advanced materials occurred during a project internship at the Laboratory for Processing of Advanced Composites, collaborating on sustainable 3D printing for prosthetics. Earlier experiences include an internship at the Council of the European Union and participation in medical research at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Marina holds a Master of Science in Material Science & Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
