Christopher Mack has over 15 years of work experience as a software engineer. Christopher is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Very, an IoT engineering firm. In this role, Christopher is responsible for building systems for smart manufacturing, smart energy and utilities, consumer electronics, and connected wellness. Prior to their current position, Christopher worked as a Staff Engineer at Vadum Inc. from 2018 to 2022, where they focused on C++ algorithm integration, web-based GUI implementation, and framework design. Christopher has also worked as a Software Engineer at Logos Technologies, Inc. from 2007 to 2018, where they were involved in Wide Area Persistent Surveillance projects and worked on various back-end processing software and user-facing interface software. Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated proficiency in C++, Python, Java, and Clojure.

Christopher Mack holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering at the same university from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained several certifications. Christopher earned a certification in Software Design and Architecture Specialization from Coursera in December 2019. Furthermore, in March 2018, they completed certifications in Sequence Models and Deep Learning Specialization, both from Coursera. In December 2017, Christopher obtained certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks and Structuring Machine Learning Projects, also from Coursera. In October 2017, they completed certifications in Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, as well as Neural Networks and Deep Learning, both from Coursera. Lastly, they hold an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in June 2023.
