Alec Owens

Alec Owens began their career in 2013 as a Deck Seaman (Undesignated) in the US Navy. Alec was then promoted to Boatswain's Mate -- Seaman and Boatswain's Mate -- Petty Officer Third Class in the same year. In 2016, they were promoted to Boatswain's Mate -- Petty Officer Second Class. In 2018, they joined CARGO-LINK, INC. as an Operations Coordinator, where they were responsible for helping clients with their logistics solutions. Alec was later promoted to Inventory Logistics Manager, where they directed the company's inventory control and inventory record accuracy programs. In 2022, they joined Veryable as the Director of Business Development.

Alec Owens has an education history that includes an Associate's degree from Wake Technical Community College from 2018 to 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Operations and Supply Chain Management from East Carolina University from 2020 to 2022. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the Truist Leadership Institute and LinkedIn, including the Emerging Leaders Certification, Inventory Management Foundations, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, Managing Logistics, Supply Chain Foundations, and Understanding Logistics, all obtained in February 2022.
