Andrew Attar

Andrew Attar has a diverse work experience. Andrew began their career in 2009 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Florida State University. In 2011, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Lab and as a Laboratory Instructor and Graduate Student Researcher in Physical Chemistry at UC Berkeley. In 2017, they joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a Member of Technical Staff, where they worked on the development of pulsed fiber laser systems for advanced sensing. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Research Associate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, before joining Vescent Photonics, LLC as a Staff Scientist.

Andrew Attar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Florida State University between 2007 and 2011. Andrew then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, which they earned in 2016.
