Joshua Offermans

Joshua Offermans has a diverse work experience in software development roles. Joshua started their career in 2016 as a Computer Instructor at Uw Computerstudent and worked there until 2019. In 2019, they became an Embedded Software Engineer at INFO - Your Business Innovation Partner. Then, in 2020, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Chary Solutions and as a Software Engineer at EmbeddeX, software development. In 2021, they joined JouwWelzijn as a Full Stack Developer, and in 2022, they worked as a Flutter Developer at Vesper. Currently, they are employed at Re:Shark as a Full-stack Developer.

Joshua Offermans has a strong educational background in computer science and data engineering. Joshua obtained their Havo Diploma in the field of natural sciences and health from Sint-Vituscollege Bussum in 2016. Joshua then pursued a Bachelor's degree in technical informatics/computer engineering/technical computer science at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, which they completed in 2021.

Following their bachelor's degree, Joshua undertook a Pre-Master program in computer science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2021 to 2022. Joshua then continued their education with two concurrent master's degrees in computer science: one at VU Amsterdam and another at the University of Amsterdam. Both programs focus on big data engineering, and they are expected to complete them in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua has also acquired several certifications. Joshua completed a course in Fuzzy Logic through LinkedIn in January 2021, earned a certification in User Experience for Web Design from LinkedIn in December 2020, and completed a course in Learning Docker through LinkedIn in May 2020.
