Jihwan Chun

Jihwan Chun has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2011. In 2012, they were an Undergraduate Research Intern at the Social Computing Lab, GSCT, KAIST. In 2014, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Frankly Chat, where they participated in the design and implementation of the Frankly Messenger SDK. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer at Devsisters, where they designed and implemented core logic for matchmaking events and MMR calculators. In 2017, they were a DevOps Engineer at PUBG Corporation, where they took part in operating planet-scale game server infrastructure on AWS. In 2020, they were a Site Reliability Engineer at Google. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Software Engineering Manager and Co-Founder at VESSL AI.

Jihwan Chun attended the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 2011 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
