Victor Alvarez

Victor Alvarez, CHA, currently serves as the General Manager of Surfsand Resort under Vesta Hospitality since October 2024. Prior to this role, Victor held the position of General Manager at Gaia Hotel and Spa, first under Hostmark Hospitality Group from July 2013 to December 2024 and then under First Hospitality from October 2023 until the present consolidation. Victor's career in hospitality began as General Manager of Victoria Palms Inn and Suites, where responsibilities included operational management and repositioning the property. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at Peninsula Island Resort & Spa, where Victor managed all aspects of operations, and previous roles in various capacities at Sheraton South Padre Island and Bahia Mar Beach Resort. Educational background includes a degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Spanish and Finance.
