Rasmus Schøler Sørensen

Rasmus Schøler Sørensen is an experienced data scientist and cloud data engineer currently working at Vestas since November 2021, where responsibilities include developing predictive models and algorithms for wind turbine failures using BigData tools. Previously, Rasmus served as a data engineer focusing on condition monitoring systems at Vestas Power Solutions. Academic experience includes a postdoctoral research scientist role at Aarhus University, specializing in super-resolution microscopy and user training. Rasmus also held fellowships at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, focusing on cancer biology, gene therapies, and advanced detection technologies. Rasmus's early research at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center involved drug carrier development and the programming of automated systems for biological analysis. Rasmus holds a Ph.D. in Nanoscience & Molecular Biology and has advanced degrees from Aarhus University.
