Niels Nørre Rasmussen

Niels Normann Sørensen is an experienced unit process engineer currently employed at Crossbridge Energy since January 2022, focusing on the Amine, Sour Water, and Sulphur Recovery Unit while serving as a backup for simulations and process control. Previously, Niels held the role of project engineer, responsible for reviewing and designing projects (MOC). An internship at Equinor from January to July 2021 involved the retrofit of a Heat Exchanger Network (HEN) through pinch analysis, simulating various reforming and hydrofining sections. Earlier experience includes an internship at Dinex Group in 2016, where Niels performed 1D simulations for pressure drop through particle filters and implemented reaction rates for NOx reduction in exhaust gases. Niels holds a Master of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the Engineering College of Aarhus.
