Sumesh Sivasankar

Sumesh Sivasankar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various roles. Sumesh is currently employed as an Associated Director - Project Services at Vestian, where they serve as a role model and first point of contact. Sumesh communicates regularly with management and the project team, providing updates and addressing potential issues and risks. Sumesh also works closely with the project team to ensure smooth project handovers.

Prior to their current role, Sumesh worked at Practitioner [FitOut] as a Project Head, where they directed and managed project development from start to finish. Sumesh developed project plans and communicated expectations to team members effectively.

Sumesh also has experience as a Project Manager at Interiors.R.US, where they worked closely with stakeholders and expedited shop drawings and approvals. Additionally, they served as a Senior Coordinator in projects, procurement, and estimation at the same company, assisting the design team and making necessary arrangements for sample approvals.

Before that, Sumesh founded Vivai Contracts and was responsible for planning resources, managing day-to-day project operations, and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, and government officials.

Sumesh also worked as a Manager - Credit Control at Consolidated Shipping Services Group (CSS), where they prepared reports, followed up with clients, and monitored sales achievements. Earlier in their career, Sumesh held various credit control positions at DTDC Express Limited, where they created procedures and policies, reconciled complex accounts, monitored debts, and supported billing and collection processes.

Sumesh Sivasankar obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accountancy and Cost Accountancy from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1994 and 1998. In addition, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Interior Design from KITCO Ltd in 2012 and a Diploma in Computers In Office Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 1999. Sumesh also holds additional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from The Blue Ocean Academy in 2018 and an UAE Driving License from the Roads and Transport Authority in 2017. Sumesh is currently pursuing Advanced Learnings in Fingerprint Assessment from Fingerprint Sutra.
