Russell Newton

Russell Newton, QKA®, has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Russell is currently working at Vestwell as the Divisional Vice President of Payroll and Channel Sales. Prior to this, they held the position of Divisional Vice President at Vestwell and was responsible for regional sales as the Vice President, Regional Sales Director (South). Before joining Vestwell, Russell worked at Prudential Financial as an Assistant Director, Sales Execution and as a Relationship Manager. Russell also gained experience as a 401(K) Plan Specialist at ADP. Russell started their career at Fidelity Investments, where they held roles as a Workplace Planning and Guidance Consultant and a Financial Representative - Tax Exempt Market.

Russell Newton, QKA®, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from St. Lawrence University in 2012. In 2013, they earned a Master's degree from Canisius University. In 2014, they obtained the Series 7 and Series 63 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the NASAA respectively. In 2015, they acquired the Series 66 certification from the NASAA. Finally, in 2018, they obtained the QKA certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
