David Bainbridge

David Bainbridge has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. David is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Vet-AI since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Commify from 2018 to 2022, where they held the roles of Software Engineering Manager and Engineering Team Lead (Platform). In these roles, they were responsible for managing large multi-functional engineering teams and overseeing the full life cycle of products. David used technologies such as Azure, SQL Server, and Rabbit MQ.

Before Commify, David worked at Buying Butler as a Principal Developer from 2016 to 2017, where they were part of the Senior Management Team and led Agile/Scrum development teams. David also worked at Raising IT as a Senior Software Developer from 2014 to 2016, where they developed new and existing products using SQL, C#, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

David's earlier experiences include working as a Lead Software Developer at Circle from 2013 to 2014, where they designed and developed a mission-critical database system, and as a Team Leader and Software Developer at Vix Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they were involved in managing server and database teams, setting up and troubleshooting SQL Server Replication, and writing and optimizing T-SQL stored procedures and views.

Overall, David has garnered extensive experience in software engineering management, development, and team leadership, using various technologies and methodologies throughout their career.

David Bainbridge attended St Ivo School from 1995 to 2002, but did not obtain a degree or study a specific field during that time. Later, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at the University of East Anglia. In September 2011, they earned the certification of Scala Certified Technician from Scala.
