Earnest Turner

Earnest Turner has over 20 years of work experience in the information technology field. Earnest is currently the Director of Information Technology at VetCor since September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Turner Technology Consulting LLC since May 2011. From March 2020 to October 2022, Earnest served as the Director of IT at People, Pets & Vets. Earnest also has experience as the Director of IT/IS, Manager of IT and IS, and EMR/IT Administrator/HIPAA Security Officer at Texas Back Institute from 2012 to 2020. Earnest has served as a Board Member at Centricity Healthcare User Group from July 2016 to December 2017. Earnest was also a Consultant at Health Texas Provider Network from 2011 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Earnest worked as an EMR IT Support Specialist at Vantage Health Plan from 2007 to 2011 and as a DLS Tech at CenturyLink from 2002 to 2007.

Earnest Turner attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Computer Information Systems. Earnest also holds additional certifications, including a Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (CHCO) from the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance, Inc. and is a GE Clinical Consultant.
