Joe Khodari

Medical Director At Cresskill Animal Hospital at VetCor

Joe Khodari has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Joe started their career as a Research Assistant at UCLA Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Department in 2007, where they conducted experiments and performed necropsies on mice. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at UCLA CURE: Digestive Disease Research Center, studying mechanisms and pathways involved in the colonic coping response to stress in rodents. From 2011 to 2011, Joe worked as a Veterinary Researcher at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, studying ultrasonographic and clinicopathologic findings in cats with large intestinal neoplasia. Joe then transitioned into hands-on veterinary roles, working as a Veterinarian at various animal hospitals between 2013 and 2018. These include Washington Dog and Cat Hospital & Rancho Park Veterinary Clinic, SNP LA, San Dimas Animal Hospital, Culver Palms Animal Hospital, and Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group. Their most recent role has been as the Medical Director at Cresskill Animal Hospital since July 2018.

Joe Khodari completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Civilization at UCLA from 2005 to 2009. Joe then pursued a degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2013, earning a VMD.
