Michelle Shoemaker

Michelle Shoemaker is an accomplished veterinary professional currently serving as Chief Veterinary Officer at VetCor since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle held several leadership positions at People, Pets & Vets, including Chief Medical Officer, Vice President of Veterinary Leadership, and Regional Medical Director from February 2019 to September 2022. Michelle's extensive experience in veterinary medicine began at South Bay Veterinary Hospital, where contributions included serving as Medical Director from July 2005 to April 2022 and Associate Veterinarian from July 2004 to July 2005. Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration in Leadership from Southern Utah University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from both Washington State University and Oregon State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno.
