Julie Drury has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Julie currently holds the role of Director of Mental Health at Veterans Affairs Canada. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager of Stakeholder Engagement in Mental Health at Health Canada. Julie also worked as a Strategic Lead for Patient Partnership at the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement and as the Chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Julie has also held various positions at Health Canada, including Director, Senior Policy Advisor, and Senior Policy Analyst. Julie started their career as a Program Officer in the Tobacco Control Program at Health Canada. Additionally, they have self-employed experience as a Patient Care Coordinator and Advocate.
Julie Drury has pursued their education at the University of Ottawa, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics. Julie also pursued Graduate Studies at the same university, specializing in Exercise Physiology.
