Kate W. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kate currently works as the National Director of Development, Strategy, and Stewardship at Veterans Community Project since 2023. Before that, they worked at The Mission Continues as a Senior Manager, Stewardship, and Operations from 2019 to 2023. Previously, they were the Marketing Projects Manager at the Saint Louis Science Center from 2015 to 2017 and the Outreach Director at the Transportation Choices Coalition from 2012 to 2015. Kate also gained experience as the Finance Director at Steve Hobbs for Congress from 2011 to 2012 and as the Political Director at Washington Association of Realtors from 2007 to 2011. Kate started their career as a Policy Aide at Washington State Senate in 2007 and also had contracting roles as a Stakeholder & Media Relations Director at Cullari Communications Global and as an Associate at Millennia Public Affairs. Additionally, they served as a Campaign Manager for multiple organizations such as the Committee to Re-Elect Pat Lantz, Fast Ferries Now, Yes for Kitsap Libraries, and Restore Transit Now from 2005 to 2006.
