Heather J Collins

Heather J Collins is an experienced professional in financial management and administration, currently serving as the Director of Administration at Veterans Florida since July 2019, overseeing financial management, grant management, and human resources. Prior to this role, Heather worked at VISIT FLORIDA for nearly two decades, holding positions including Senior Manager of Procurement and Contracting, where responsibilities included managing contracts, procurement, and grant programs, along with ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Heather’s expertise extends to developing policies, managing substantial contracts with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, and leading grant programs. Earlier experience includes work as an accountant and accounts receivable clerk. Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Thomas University in 2010.
