Aideen Neylon

Aideen Neylon currently serves as the Head of Legal at the Veterinary Council of Ireland, a position held since August 2014. In addition to this role, Aideen holds various positions including Chairperson of the Appeal Committee at Rásaíocht Con Éireann / Greyhound Racing Ireland, Board Member at The PSA Ireland, and Member of the Fitness to Practise Committee at the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. Aideen also contributes as a Member of the Bookmakers Appeal Committee at Horse Racing Ireland and has been involved with the Law Society of Ireland as a Member of the In-house and Public Sector Committee until December 2023. Previous legal experience includes serving as a Solicitor at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Aideen's educational background includes an Advanced Diploma in Mediation from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, a Diploma in Judicial Skills and Decision-making from the Law Society of Ireland, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Commercial Law from University College Dublin, among other qualifications.
