Rubin Ranat

Rubin Ranat serves as General Counsel for Veterinary Practice Partners since May 2022 and has held the position of President and General Counsel at Leisure Hospitality, LLC since February 2018. Previously, Rubin was the Vice President and Co-General Counsel at VCA, Inc. from November 2018 to May 2022 and worked as an Attorney at Rutan & Tucker, LLP from April 2017 to February 2018. Rubin’s career also includes experience as an Attorney and Senior Manager at KPMG LLP from May 2011 to April 2017 and an Attorney (Corporate) at the US Department of Treasury - Office of Chief Counsel, IRS, from August 2006 to April 2011, where Rubin received the Stuart L. Brown National Technical Guidance Award for exceptional contributions. Rubin holds a degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & International Business from Washington University in St. Louis.
