Jon Dean currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Veterinary United, beginning in October 2023, where the focus is on delivering exceptional service to enhance organizational growth. Concurrently, Jon Dean has held a position as an Adjunct Faculty member at Wayne State University since September 2014, teaching graduate-level courses related to school improvement, law, and human resources. A substantial tenure with the Grosse Pointe Public School System from February 2012 to June 2024 included roles as Superintendent and Senior Consultant, during which Jon Dean implemented strategic plans, led collective bargaining negotiations, and advanced educational initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Superintendent for Educational Services and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in various school districts, along with leadership roles as Principal in multiple educational institutions. Jon Dean's educational background includes a Doctor of Education from Wayne State University and a Master's degree in Education Leadership, demonstrating a strong foundation in educational policy and administration.
