Tyler Slack

Tyler Slack has a diverse work experience in various roles related to project management, coordination, and GIS development.

From 2021 to the present, Tyler worked at VETRO, Inc. as a GIS Developer, responsible for executing initiatives that deliver data analysis, visualization, and automation. Prior to this role, from 2022 to 2022, Tyler served as the Director of Services and Delivery, where they managed operations, project scoping, stakeholder coordination, and product integration.

In 2020, Tyler joined Galvion as a Delivery Manager, ensuring on-time delivery for armor manufacturing. Tyler also worked as a Project Manager from 2020 to 2021, focusing on project planning, execution, stakeholder management, and issue resolution.

From 2015 to 2020, Tyler worked at TomTom in various roles. As a Senior Project Coordinator, they oversaw project management and coordination for North American Mobile Mapping operations, while utilizing Jira for workflow structure and agile framework development. Tyler also served as a Mobile Mapping Team Senior Supervisor, co-managing a team of drivers and collaborating with global teams.

Previously, from 2011 to 2015, Tyler was employed at Maponics. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, they reviewed and ensured compliance with quality standards for production databases and final products. Additionally, they worked as a Cartographer, responsible for acquiring and maintaining spatial data resources.

Tyler's early career includes a role as a GIS Technician at Greenhorne & O'Mara from 2009 to 2011, where they collected, analyzed, and modeled data for mapping contracts and produced Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps for FEMA.

Tyler Slack attended Appalachian State University from 2003 to 2008 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. In November 2017, they obtained the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance.
