Dr. Philip Hörsch

Dr. Philip Hörsch has extensive experience in quality assurance and process control within the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Philip began their career at Vetter Pharma in 2004, starting as a Microbiology Project Leader and later becoming QA-Site Manager. In these roles, they gained expertise in process validation, quality risk management, and IT systems support. From 2015 to 2023, they served as the Director of Quality Assurance Process Control & System Compliance, overseeing tasks such as process trending, visual inspection, and supplier quality management. Most recently, in 2024, they assumed the position of Director of Quality Assurance Process Performance & System Compliance, where they focused on process validation, combination products, and ISO13485 compliance. In addition to their industry experience, Dr. Hörsch is also a Lehrbeauftragter at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen starting from March 2021.

Dr. Philip Hörsch received a Diplom in Technische Biologie from the University of Stuttgart from 1992 to 1998. Dr. Philip then pursued their Promotion in Chemieingenieurwesen at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1998 to 2004.
