Premanand Adaikalasamy

Premanand Adaikalasamy is the Managing Director of Vettri BioMed Technologies Pvt Ltd since January 2025, where a focus on genomics, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and bioinformatics drives the company’s vision and operations. Previous experience includes serving as a Freelance Researcher from January 2023 to November 2024 and holding various roles at Vellore Institute of Technology from October 2016 to May 2022, including CSIR-NET Senior Research Fellow, CSIR-NET Junior Research Fellow, and Teaching Cum Research Assistant. Additionally, a graduate trainee position was held at the CSIR - Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants during a research dissertation for the Master of Science in Biotechnology. Educational credentials include a PhD in Medical Biotechnology and Computational Biology, an MSc in Biotechnology, and a B.Sc in Advanced Zoology & Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology and Loyola College, respectively.
