Alyssa Yuan

Alyssa Yuan is a dedicated student researcher currently working at COBWEB, where the focus is on modeling the effects of depression on cancer patients. Alongside being a co-founder and co-chair at Fast Forward Into the Future Non-profit Organization, Alyssa is committed to helping young individuals navigate the digital world while giving back to the community. In addition to these roles, Alyssa engages with VEX Robotics as a team member, volunteers at Mackenzie Health, and serves as a human resources team member for Students Support Students. Previous experiences include a notable summer at the DEEP Academy at the University of Toronto, leadership as Chapter Head for STEM Fellowship, and participation in the Shad Canada program. Alyssa is currently pursuing education at St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School, set to graduate in June 2025.
