Loh Wai Kuan

Loh WaiKuan is currently the Head of Power and Control at vFlowTech Pte. Ltd., a position held since January 2023, focused on vanadium redox flow battery manufacturing. Prior to this role, Loh served as a Senior Scientist at the Energy Research Institute @ NTU from December 2016 to December 2022, specializing in the design of power converters for various applications. Loh also worked as a freelance consultant in early 2017, providing expertise in variable speed drives and conducting relevant training. From December 1988 to January 2017, Loh held significant roles at Control Techniques Singapore Pte. Ltd., including Technical Director and R&D Manager. The academic background includes a PhD, MS, and BS in Power Electronics and Electrical Engineering from The University of Manchester, completed between 1976 and 1984.
