Mehwish Dhamani

Mehwish Dhamani has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Mehwish started their career at GlaxoSmithKline as a Quality Assurance & Training Officer from 2009 to 2013. Mehwish then joined Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group as a Corporate Quality Officer from 2013 to 2015. Mehwish then moved to Hamad Medical Corporation and worked as a Quality & Patient Safety Specialist from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they are working at VHA Home HealthCare as a Quality & Patient Safety Lead starting from 2017.

Mehwish Dhamani obtained their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Pharm. D) from Karachi University in 2008. Mehwish then pursued a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from the Institute of Business Management from 2010 to 2012. In 2019, they enrolled in McMaster University to pursue a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which they completed in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Mehwish Dhamani has obtained several certifications in various areas. These include "Designing and Conducting Evaluation" from the University of Toronto in November 2022, "Lean Healthcare Green Belt" from the Ontario Hospital Association in August 2018, and "Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety" from IHI. Mehwish is also certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare Quality and as a Certified Clinical Research Professional by Kriger Research Group International. Furthermore, they have received training and certifications in "Kaizen - Way towards Improvement" from the Pakistan Institute of Management and "Operational Excellence Advocate - Lean/ Six Sigma Methodologies" from GSK.
