Alex Eremia, JD, LL.M has a extensive work experience in the legal field. Starting from 1999, Alex worked as an Associate Counsel for HHS - Office of Inspector General until 2001. In 2004, Alex joined MedStar Health as an Associate General Counsel, and later became the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer from 2008 to 2011. Alex also served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University from 2005 to 2011. In 2012, Alex joined Boca Raton Regional Hospital as the Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and worked there until 2019. Currently, Alex holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Virginia Hospital Center since November 2019.
Alex Eremia, JD, LL.M. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara in the years 1986 to 1991. Subsequently, from 1994 to 1997, they attended DePaul University College of Law, earning a J.D. degree in Law. In 1998 to 1999, Alex pursued a LL.M. degree in Health Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained certifications in various subjects, including executive leadership and financial literacy, from LinkedIn.
