Rachel E. MacAuley

Rachel E. Macauley is a Principal and Africa Lead for Sourcing and Diligence at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, a venture philanthropy firm dedicated to supporting early-stage social enterprises. Currently serving on multiple boards, including VIA Global Health and the Shamiri Institute, Rachel also holds advisory roles with Greentech Africa and the Nairobi Business Angel Network, and mentors startups through Katapult. Previous experience includes Senior Program Officer at OCP North America, consultant at WARC Group, and Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum. Educational credentials include dual Master of International Affairs degrees from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Global Public Health from the University of Virginia, supplemented by various certifications in community development and company direction.
