John Clamp

John Clamp is an accomplished professional in finance and administration with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently, John serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at VIA Metropolitan Transit since April 2024. Prior to this position, John held the role of Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration at The DoSeum from January 2022 to April 2024 and briefly served as Interim CFO/Consultant at the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. John was the Chief Financial Officer for the Alamo Area Council of Governments from December 2015 to January 2021 and has also worked with the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association as Executive Director. Additional experiences include service as Chairman of the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority and Broker/Owner at Landmark Companies. John has held public office as a City Councilman for the City of San Antonio and has a background in finance and planning at USAA. Educationally, John holds a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio, along with a BBA in Accounting from the same institution.
