Marcus Peoples

Marcus Peoples has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Marcus started their career at Albertsons as a Store Director, where they successfully managed daily operations and a large team. In 2002, they joined Pyramid Hotel Group as a Regional Director of Human Resources, overseeing multiple hotels and providing support in various HR functions. In 2014, Marcus joined VIA Metropolitan Transit as the Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for managing HR operations. Additionally, they served as the President of the San Antonio Chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) from 2014 to 2018.

Marcus Peoples earned their B.A. in Human Resources from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor between 1991 and 1993. Marcus also attended Regis University from 1989 to 1991, but the degree and field of study are unspecified. In 2016 to 2017, Marcus also participated in the Leadership San Antonio Class 42, although no degree or field of study was associated with this program.
