Benno Crombeen

Benno Crombeen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2006, they founded Pancake Webdesign and served as the owner until January 2011. From October 2008 to February 2012, they worked as a Ploegleider at TeamEdsoBurojan.nl, a top-level marathon team. In January 2007, Benno became the Development Manager at Pitgroup Intech B.V. and held the position until March 2011. Benno then joined Oberon Interactive as a Software Engineer until March 2013. Benno's next role was as CTO at Emark, a Wunderman Thompson company, starting in March 2013 and ending in February 2021. Benno was responsible for implementing and integrating marketing and advertising technology stacks. In March 2012, they started working as a Ploegleider at ACE-Team, a position they held until March 2016. Afterwards, Benno joined EPAM Systems as the Director of Delivery Management from March 2021 to August 2021. Being an entrepreneur, in July 2021, they founded Digitio BV. Benno then started an additional venture called Upshift in May 2022, where they hold the role of Founder & Technology Consultant. Currently, Benno works as a Technology Consultant (contractor) at VIA Outlets since August 2021.

Benno Crombeen attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Biomedical Sciences. Benno then went on to study Computer Software Engineering at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2010, earning a BSc degree in that field.
