Sweet Joy Hachuela has extensive work experience in the field of diversity and inclusion. Sweet Joy started their career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2003 as a Diversity Consultant. Sweet Joy then moved on to become the CEO of GlobalPoint Consulting in 2004, and later worked as a Partner at Springboard Leadership from 2005 to 2007. From 2007, Sweet Joy Hachuela joined The Medici Group where they co-launched and scaled the consulting company as the Chief Growth Officer. During their time at The Medici Group, they closed $30 million in deals and built relationships with key decision makers in top companies like Nike, Disney, and JP Morgan, establishing CEO Frans Johansson as a leader in the diversity and inclusion space. In 2020, Sweet Joy Hachuela joined Via Renaissance (formerly The Medici Group) as the Chief Growth Officer.
Sweet Joy Hachuela completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from 2000 to 2002.
