Onur Yukselen

Onur Yukselen is a highly experienced bioinformatician, currently serving as the Director of Bioinformatics at Via Scientific, Inc. since October 2022 and as a Senior Bioinformatician at the University of Massachusetts Medical School since November 2017. Yukselen specializes in designing and implementing bioinformatic pipelines for processing various next-generation sequencing data types, including whole genome/exome sequencing and RNAseq. Prior to these roles, a position as a Molecular Biologist in the Technology Development Department at SANKO Textile ISKO Division involved developing biotechnological processes for textiles and bioreactor design. Yukselen's earlier experience includes work as a Research and Development Assistant at Sabancı University, focusing on computational mutagenesis and substrate specificity of enzymes, alongside educational credentials from Sabancı University and Istanbul Technical University.
