Melissa Sherman

Melissa Sherman has a wealth of experience in the field of human resources. Melissa is currently working as a People Operations Principal at Via, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at LARVOL from January 2021 to October 2021. In this role, they led a remote-first HR department, provided support to leadership, and supervised a team of six members. Before LARVOL, Melissa worked at JVS Detroit, where they held various HR positions. From March 2017 to December 2020, they served as the Director of Human Resources, ensuring compliance with employment regulations and reporting. Prior to that, they were an HR Coordinator from June 2016 to March 2017, and a Senior HR Specialist & Training Coordinator from April 2010 to June 2016. Melissa's earlier experience includes working as a Clinical Research Recruiter at Kelly Scientific Resources from May 2009 to April 2010.

Melissa Sherman studied Psychology at the University of Michigan, where they received their B.A. degree. Afterward, they pursued further education at Wayne State University, specializing in Industrial Organizational Psychology, where they obtained their M.A. degree.
