Catherine Nguyen

Catherine Nguyen has had a diverse work experience. Catherine began their career in 2013 as Team Captain of Gunn Robotics Team, where they maintained communication between mentors and students, created the class curriculum, and organized fundraisers. In 2014, they took on the role of Product Design Intern at Gnetic and President at Illinois Solar Decathlon. In 2015, they were a Research Candidate at ISE Research. In 2016, they were a Product Engineering Intern at Lockheed Martin, where they assembled an Engineering Model, corresponded with managers and engineers, conducted a time study and Discrete Event Simulation, and assessed purchased parts and labor cost estimates. In 2017, they were a Product Engineering and Business Development Associate at ViaBot. Finally, in 2018, they were a Supply Chain Logistics Analyst at Regal Beloit Corporation, where they managed inventory health metric expansion, initiated drone cycle count implementation, and directed PO Management with Regal's broker and suppliers.

Catherine Nguyen attended Henry M. Gunn High School from 2009 to 2014, graduating with a HS Diploma. Catherine then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 2018.
