Stephen Boyd

Stephen is the Samsung Professor of Electrical Engineering and the Electrical Engineering Department Chair at Stanford University. His research is on convex optimization applications in signal processing, controls, machine learning, and time series data. Stephen is a Fellow of the IEEE, SIAM, and INFORMS, a member of the US National Academy of Engineering, the author of four textbooks, and the co-author of eleven patents.
