Amy Del Medico

Amy Del Medico has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Amy currently holds the position of VP of Ophthalmology at Vial, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure at IQVIA, where they held various roles. From July 2019 to December 2022, they served as the Director and Co-chair of the Ophthalmology Centre of Excellence. Before that, they were an AD and Therapeutic Strategy Lead for both Ophthalmology & Neurology from November 2017 to July 2019, and for Neurology from April 2016 to November 2017. Amy also had a role as a Therapeutic Strategy Lead for Neurology from January 2014 to April 2016.

Before joining IQVIA, Amy worked at Quintiles, where they were a Senior Feasibility Specialist from December 2006 to December 2013, and a Project Team Lead from March 2006 to November 2006. Prior to Quintiles, they were a Project Manager at Quest Diagnostics from August 2004 to February 2006. Amy began their career at Hays, where they held the positions of Administration Manager from September 2001 to July 2004, and Recruitment Consultant from December 1999 to August 2001.

Amy Del Medico completed their education in a chronological manner. Amy first attended the University of Bristol from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Bristol from 1998 to 1999, undertaking a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Exercise and Health Science.
