Adam Porter

Adam Porter has a strong background in technical consulting and operations. Adam currently holds the position of Director International Technical Operations at ViaLase, Inc, where they have been since March 2023. Prior to this, Adam served as a Technical Consultant at BELKIN Vision from July 2020 to January 2023 and at RxSight, Inc. from July 2020 to December 2022. Before this, they worked as an Associate Director of OUS Commercial Operations at RxSight, Inc. from January 2017 to May 2020. Adam also gained experience as a Project Manager (Consultant), Customer Experience, International at Wright Medical from September 2015 to January 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Alcon, A Novartis Division from March 2014 to September 2015, and as an Equipment Education Specialist at Abbott Medical Optics from February 2012 to April 2014. Earlier in their career, Adam held the position of Technical Product Specialist at IntraLase Corporation from March 2007 to December 2011, and worked as a Field Service Engineer at Instinctive Ltd from October 2004 to March 2007.

Adam Porter attended the University of Derby from 2000 to 2001, where they focused on Electronics but did not complete a degree. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Design (BSC IED) with a specialization in Product Design from the University of Derby from 2001 to 2004.
