Katherine Pioro

Katherine Pioro has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Katherine began their career as a Student Researcher at Cleveland Clinic, where they focused on researching glioblastoma stem cells. Later, they worked as a Tech/Finance Intern at Flashstarts, Inc. In 2018, they joined VSCO® as a Software Engineering Intern and then moved to Lyft as a Software Engineering Intern in 2019. Katherine continued their work at Lyft as a Software Engineer until 2022. Alongside their job at Lyft, Katherine also worked at Cornell University as a Computer Vision Researcher and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. Most recently, they joined Viam as a Software Engineer in 2023.

Katherine Pioro completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Cornell Engineering from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they attended Hawken School from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their High School education.
