Marit Kjærvik

Marit Kjærvik is an R&D Engineer at Vianode since January 2022, previously serving as a Course Instructor at Forskerfabrikken Norge As in the summer of 2021. Marit pursued a PhD at Technische Universität Berlin from March 2017 to September 2021, focusing on surface characterization of bacteria and related materials, through collaboration with SPECS Surface Nano Analysis GmbH as part of the Horizon 2020 project. Prior experiences include a researcher position at Genok - Centre for Biosafety, a student assistant role at NTNU, and an internship at Norsk Hydro. Marit's academic credentials also include a Master of Science in Nanotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, complemented by an exchange year in Nanotechnology at Technische Universität Berlin. Early career roles included glacier guiding and shift work in an aluminium factory.
