Bill Paynter

Bill Paynter has extensive experience in finance and auditing, currently serving as the Senior Director of Billing & Payments at ViaSat since October 2007, overseeing credit, billing, payments, collections, and commissions. Prior to this role, Bill worked as a consultant from January 2006 to October 2007, focusing on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, risk assessments, internal audits, and technical accounting standards implementation at firms including 2 Degrees, Hudson Financial, and K Financial. Bill also held the position of Chief Audit Executive at Verio, where responsibilities included establishing the internal audit function and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley across subsidiaries. Previous experience includes significant roles at KPMG LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP, spanning auditing, regulatory services, and management. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1994.
