Erik Larson

Erik Larson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in communication systems, mobile device engineering, and hardware development. Currently serving as a Senior Communication Systems Engineer at ViaSat Inc. since October 2017, Erik supports terminal development for the Global Satellite Networks team. Prior to this role, Erik held key positions at VeriFone, including Director of Mobile Device Engineering and Director of Global Mechanical Engineering, overseeing secure mobile payment systems. Erik also contributed significantly at Dell as Director of Mobile Platform Architecture and Hardware Development Engineering, managing various smartphone and tablet projects. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Motorola and General Instrument, where Erik led extensive engineering teams and developed innovative products. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University.
