Raphaël Ihamouine

Raphaël Ihamouine is a highly experienced Principal Systems Architect currently leading system architecture for the Global Space Network at Viasat, specializing in 5G Mesh and 5G NTN system design as well as 3GPP standardization. Prior to this role, Ihamouine served as Principal Systems Architect in the CTO team at Inmarsat and worked at Airbus Defence and Space from March 2018 to August 2022 as an End-to-End SATCOM System Architect, focusing on GEO systems, constellations, and military system standardization. Additional experience includes roles in network and system R&D engineering and software development across various companies. Ihamouine holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ENSEEIHT and a Master of Science degree from AGH University of Krakow, along with a solid educational background in mathematics, physics, economics, and biology.
